The Ohio Valley Chapter Newsletter is published and distributed electronically in February, April, September, and November prior to each chapter meeting.
The Newsletter Editor, Marge Peffly, is always looking for news/technical tips/articles to publish in the Chapter newsletter. Please email Marge Peffly if you would like to contribute or have questions about content.
If you are interested in advertising in the OVSCC newsletter, the Advertising Agreement link below lists the current ad rates:
A signed advertising agreement, along with payment, should be sent to the Business Manager, Jim Staudigel. This should be received no later then the third week of January to ensure your ad is in all four of the newsletters for the year. If you miss this deadline, pro-rated ad prices are available upon request.
Updated Newsletter Format & Ad Sizes
We now use a web based application to send our newsletters, instead of emailing a word or pdf document. This allows us to have a more modern newsletter with better distribution and wider viewing by our membership. Due to this, we have changed our ad sizes from set dimensions to simply “small” or “large”, since the actual dimensions are dependent on the screen or device the newsletter is viewed on. There is a generic example at the link below, or see the November 2015 newsletter in the archive at the bottom of this page.
A picture file (jpeg, gif, etc.) that is at least 600 x 600 pixels is preferred for optimum clarity of the ad. Excessive small text should be avoided.
